IT'S NEVER TOO LATE! I have really been remiss not posting- haven't I? I thought I had better since two individuals just today noticed!
So another journey begins for me and I am simply trusting God to take me where ever HE sees that I can use my talents and have an impact on others, their lives and their dreams.
Several weeks ago, I auditioned for AMTC-heard a commercial for it on WDCX radio( Actors, Models and Talent for Christ),a competition in Rochester; quite frankly, not fully understanding what it was that I was getting into. So upon registering ( the night before) I added that I may not be able to attend, as I had a really bad cold/cough, but I would let them know in the morn. My audition time was 2pm and at 11:30 am I was sitting at the kitchen counter still contemplating if my voice would "work" if I went. I suddenly felt a "wink" if you will, from God saying "GO- you'll never know if you don't - you will be fine" - AT total peace, I showered, hopped in my car, not knowing what I would sing exactly- and off I went. The auditions were non-threatening, prayerful and fun- When I arrived back home I logged onto the AMTC website and discovered that if I were chosen , I would be auditioning at a convention of 50-100 directors, agents, etc. from all over the world! I found actors and singers, models and product spokespeople who had been discovered through this AMTC convention. My heart raced, and then sank, thinking that I would never be selected, but less than 24 hours later, I received a call back- They wanted ME! I prayed for almost two weeks before making a decision to go and see what God might be able to do with me! So I am busy with vocal training, memorizing monologues and commercial scripts, finding backtracks, then will come photo shoots, rehearsals and in July the competition all under the careful watch of the amazing and caring AMTC staff of incredible people. Is God winking at YOU? He may be - pay attention- listen carefully!

What You Believe is What You Get!

Hi Everyone and Happy New Year!
I was thinking today, as I do every day about how believing that what you think about will come about is such a strange concept to many. What you believe is what you get really just about sums it up! Many of you may not understand or accept it, but here is what truly happens when you believe something. If you believe that relationships are hard work, then you will only attract people who will make it difficult or force you to put loads of energy into a relationship. If you believe the worst - most likely- you will get the worst. This doesn't happen all of the time because even though you may worry, a small part of you is hopeful that you will have a positive outcome and therefore a disaster is often avoided. If you are never hopeful, then you could be setting yourself up for the worst happening all of the time. There is more to believing than just creating beliefs. Having positive beliefs is the first step to creating a successful life. A belief is the way you feel about something- it's deeply rooted and if asked a question about it you would have an answer. Belief is faith and trust that what you want to happen can and will happen. You know it will happen and you create affirmations around what you believe will happen. You actually need to practice believing just as you would practice anything else. In many ways we have been taught not to believe something until you can see it, but you must train your brain to believe like you did in Santa and the Easter Bunny- with unfailing faith. Many people only look at past results and judge their future on those results. You will need to move past this type of thinking if you want to have changes occur in your life. You must know without a doubt that you will get what you want out of life. It isn't really you get what you want though, it's you get who you are being. So how do you go to that level? Start with small goals, trust and let go! You may want to refer to goal-setting on this blog. It takes time to develop this habit. Next- the Power of your Mind
Until Then-
Have an outstanding day!
