Ten Ways to Grow Into Your Greatness
I thought I would share the outline for the presentation I have been asked to give for a local children's organization in our area. One of my extreme passions is to help children and young adults know that they have greatness within them and they can make better choices despite their environments. The lessons here can also be applied to all of us, don't you think? I am so grateful for Liberty League and how it has opened so many new door for me over the past year.
1. Share Your Good- You are one of a kind- and have ideas in your mind, set them free
2. Find What You Love- Think of things you love to do - that is your Heart's Desire- let it shine!
3. You Are Filled With Love- Your heart is like a magic cookie jar- let your love out and it will come back to you!
4. Find a Quiet Place Inside- let your mind wander sometimes and dream
5. Make Today Great- Lots happens everyday, that is part of who you are- Don;t worry about yesterday, make today better!
6. Change Your Thoughts to Good- problems come in all shapes and sizes- thinking good thoughts can help you solve them- Ask for help form others and God, the universe or your higher power!
7. Take Care of You- If something or someone makes you feel bad, let go of the hurt and take care of you- after all, you is all you can control!
8. Picture What You Want Pretend you are what you'd like to be and bbelieve in your heart it will happen.
9.Everyone is Special Everyone has a source of good- and we are all connected
10. Good Thoughts Give You Energy Happy thoughts make you feel strong and free to be who you were intended to be

How To Research a Business Opportunity
The Advantages of a Business Opportunity
Protect yourself by learning what a business opportunity really is, how the government regulates them, and the steps you should take to ensure you've found the best opportunity available.
Requires a lower initial fee than a franchise. Although the number of low-investment franchises has increased, the fee to get into a business opportunity is still considerably lower. The FTC requires a $500 minimum investment for an opportunity to be considered a business opportunity, but there are many that fall under this set fee, although most average around $2,000 to $3,000.
A proven system of operation or product. Existing systems serve to maximize efficiency and returns and minimize problems. It's simply a matter of passing on experience, still the best teacher. Whether they admit it or not, most people like having their hands held once in a while. During crises, the parent company is there to help the licensee over the bumps. Many people like this idea of safety in numbers.
Intensive training programs. In any new business, a lot of time and money are consumed during the learning period. A good business opportunity venture can eliminate the majority of ineffective moves through an intensive training program.
Professional advertising and promotion. Most small businesspeople don't spend sufficient money on advertising. When they do, their efforts are often poorly conceived and inconsistent. Many business opportunity ventures supply the buyer with print advertising slicks, radio ads, TV storyboards, etc., in order to provide a better marketing effort. Some business opportunity ventures will even have a cooperative advertising agreement under which they will split the cost of print, radio or TV ads. This type of marketing help is especially beneficial in large metropolitan areas where the cost of media is prohibitive to the one-shop owner.
Ongoing counseling. Most business opportunity ventures offer support not only through training but also through counseling from a staff of experts who offer assistance that no independent could afford. Legal advice is available to a certain degree. The most efficient accounting systems-perfect for that particular business-have been designed by experts in the field.
Purchasing power. Many times, the parent company's tremendous buying power and special buying techniques can bring products, equipment and outside services to the licensee at a much lower cost than an independent could ever get.
No ongoing royalties. In a business opportunity, unlike in a franchise, there are no ongoing royalties to pay to the seller. The profits are all yours.
So, what do you say- are you ready to join the ranks of individuals who are taking control of their lives and their financial situations?

What is Liberty League Truly About?
If you play tennis you're probably already familiar with Timothy Gallwey, the author of "The Inner Game of Tennis".
The Inner Game of Tennis, author Tim Gallwey wrote the following:
"Every game is composed of two parts, an outer game and an inner game. The outer game is played against an external opponent to overcome external obstacles and to reach an external goal. Mastering this game is the subject of many books offering instructions on how to swing a racket, club or bat, and how to position arms, legs or torso to achieve the best results. But for some reason, most of us find these instructions easier to remember than to execute."
Gallwey goes on to explain that real success in the playing of any game must include attention to the skills of the inner game...the game that takes place in the mind of the player. He points to such internal obstacles as lack of concentration, nervousness and self-doubt as "habits of mind" that must be overcome before excellence in performance will be accomplished. He writes:
"The player of the inner game comes to value the art of relaxed concentration above all other skills; he discovers a true basis for self-confidence; and he learns that the secret of winning any game lies in not trying too hard.
He aims at the kind of spontaneous performance which occurs only when the mind is calm and seems at one with the body, which finds its own surprising ways to surpass its own limits again and again. Moreover, while overcoming the common hang-ups of competition, the player of the inner game uncovers a will to win which unlocks all his energy and which is never discouraged by losing."
That is what Liberty League is about.
That's what the Beyond Freedom Life Achievement Course is about.
That's what the Liberty and Summit Conferences are about.
In every home business you've ever heard of, your sponsor has tried to convince you to join by promising you how easy it would be; how automated it would be; how all the work would be done for you.

Developing a Business Marketing Strategy
Your opportunities are limitless and you can be as creative as possible. This is an exciting time for a business owner. After all, isn’t that why you started working for yourself to begin with? Focus on what originally inspired your business and use your desire for success as the driving force behind your small business marketing solution.
For the very best results, utilize more than one advertising and marketing idea; limiting your plan for an effective business marketing strategy will reduce the number of potential leads/customers. Diversify your advertising campaign in order to reach all potential leads/customers in your target market. Determine whether your marketing campaign will be focused on finding local customers, or if you are going to develop an international marketing strategy. The techniques vary depending on who you are targeting.
You will not reach everyone using only one advertising vehicle. Some people rely on the internet to search for services and/or products, while others surf the net. There are inexpensive marketing and advertising ideas, as well as hugely complicated and expensive methods for attracting business. For this reason, begin with reviewing some of the easier techniques of marketing before moving to more costly, intricate campaigns. Then, when you find one that works, stick with it and move on to a new marketing technique. We will discuss some of those techniques in other posts.
Always keep in mind that with your own business, you must have leads/ customers seeking out your service or product at all times. Without it, productivity and profit decrease. Consider subscribing to some free marketing e-courses. They will provide you with valuable information and resources to take into account prior to starting your advertising.
Check out the resources provided through other business associates as well as the internet as you begin developing your small business marketing strategy. And remember, most small businesses fail not because of their product base, but because of their lack of planning of proven systems for marketing their business.
Have an Awesome day!

You Were Born with the Five Elements of Success
1. Enthusiasm- Remember how excited you were over the smallest thing when you were 5 years old? Ice cream, finding bugs, getting an "A", being able to ride your bike without training wheels?
2. Persistence- How about when you wanted that new toy? How many times did you ask your parents? Did you wear them down, did you negotiate?
3. Get Over It Attitude- Whether you fell off your bike, the trampoline, balance beam, or your bed- you got back up and did it again, didn't you? It is because you were born with the spirit of "getting over it" no big deal mentality, I will just "do it again"
4. An Adventurous Spirit- You took risks, didn't you? Once you knew how to ride your bike, you tired going down a hill fast, or over the big bumps in the sidewalk. You jumped higher on the trampoline and tried new stunts on the balance beam, and falling out of bed certainly did not keep you on the floor all night. So apply that adventurous spirit with your business- take a risk- if you want to be successful, you must take a risk every now and then. You cannot expect to get a professional level of income with an amateur level of skill- Get training!
5. Have Faith - Belief - You had it- you know Santa, Easter Bunny- There are guarantees, Your faith produced a behavior- Belief, and Your Belief Activates Behavior( be good so Santa will come)So Believe in Yourself- Don't Worry about What Others Think of You-'cause guess what? They are Worrying about what others think of them!!
So Empower Yourself to Success and Re-Create The Desire Within You to be Successful and Lead Other to Success as well.
You Reap What you Sow!
Til Next Time- Karen
Mark Victor Hansen and Robert G. Allen's 24 Prosperity Principles
1. Everyone manifests. If you don't have what you want, ask yourself, "How did I manifest this?"
2. Be. Do. Have. First, be. Then, do. Then you can have all the prosperity you want.
3. Live life above the line. If you are willing to learn instead of to blame, life will go more smoothly.
4. Abundance is your natural state. Opportunities and blessings flow to individuals who embrace an abundant attitude.
5. Givers get. Give, and it will be given to you.
6. Changing your reality is a snap. Control your thinking and you control your results.
7. Words transform. Speak only with good purpose. If it doesn't serve, don't say it.
8. You are your wealth. All you need is a good idea and the commitment to do it. All the rest can be borrowed.
9. Wealth is freedom. The six great freedoms are money freedom, time freedom, relationship freedom, spiritual freedom, physical freedom, and the freedom to pursue your genius.
10. It all starts with a dream. Give yourself permission to dream a big dream. You can have it all.
11. Clarity is power. Don't think of your goals, think from your goals.
12. More clarity is more powerful. Write your six major goals down every day.
13. Tap into your genius. You have unique talents, abilities, interests, and values that only you can bring into greatness.
14. Lover-Dreams, Visions-age. Do what you love and the money will follow.
15. Imagination trumps will. When the will comes in conflict with the imagination, the imagination always wins.
16. The size of the question determines the size of the result. As you ask yourself better questions, your results will vastly improve.
17. You already know the answer. Take time to cultivate your intuition. Go with your "gut". It is almost never wrong.
18. Be congruent. You've got to want it. You've got to believe you can make money- lots of it. You've got to believe that you deserve to be wealthy- to your very core.
19. You are a money magnet. You are a literal magnet for the things you want. If you really want money, money literally can't say no.
20. Knock and it shall be opened. "Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it; boldness has genius, power, and magic in it." (Goethe)
21. Sharing is having more. Tithing is a money multiplier, not a money subtracter.
22. God knows where the gold is. Become a partner with the Author of all Wealth.
23. Destruction is creation. Hysteresis is the enemy. Break through to a new level of results.
24. Putting it all together. Getting your act together is the final key to manifesting what you want.

Are You a Cow or a Rhino?
Happy Rhinos have visions for success and their future and want to bring others along for the ride- we will get to them in a moment.
I want to first talk about Sad Rhinos because this used to be me- - They are usually very successful,but they are workaholics and therefore, miserable and tend to make everyone around them miserable. They yell a lot, are stressed and they the world will end if they don't succeed and when they don't succeed, they blame others for not succeeding. They also tend to die younger from the enormous amount of pressure they place on themselves and have stress-related health issues. If you are a sad Rhino- there is loads of good news- read on but first let's discuss the Happy Rhino- just as driven as they sad Rhino, but they enjoy every moment of life. They know that success is within reach and they LOVE THE HUNT! They will always succeed because they enjoy the hunt- it isn't even about the MONEY- It is about results and empowerment. They enjoy helping others succeed as well and give others more than their fair share of chances. So Sad Rhinos if you want to be a Happy Rhino-SURROUND YOURSELF with other happy successful Rhinos. A Happy Rhino LEADS BY EXAMPLE and if they fall, they get right back up because they have thick skin and never loose sight of their purpose, visions and goals.If you want to be happy in the direct sales Home Business- do what other Happy Rhinos do.
Now for the Happy Cows- There is nothing wrong with a happy cow- Not everyone wants to be a Rhino. Happy Cows won't work for sad Rhinos for too long because they want a little less than the Sad Rhinos and want to enjoy life more.
And Sad Cows- well- You sit around chewing your cud. Not a day goes by where you aren't complaining and whining about something. You call Happy Rhinos and Sad Rhinos for that matter- LUCKY! You then go right back to grazing and doing nothing to CHANGE YOUR LIFE. Well- my advise to you is to stop blaming others for your own CHOICES- yes YOU. Start looking at yourself and listing all of the times you complain and turn it around with a positive. Like oh I am so tired CHANGE TO- Oh I am so lucky to wake up in a bed!
I hope this opens a whole new discussion and allows you to see the POSSIBILITIES rather than the PROBABILITIES in YOUR Life!

Be A Knowledge Seeker
The reality is nothing will move forward unless you focus on progress, what's going right and have a championship mindset.
Make Hindsight Work for You!
Allow hindsight to guide your actions. Keep a notepad and pen by your nightstand to record your ideas and lessons as they come to you in the night.
Your thoughts written down, will work into your subconscious and actively replays these events.
Trust your Sixth Sense
As you put time and energy, you will develop a natural instinct- a sixth sense that will soon make you an expert in your field. Fine tuning those instincts will show you how random events will come together within your business environment. Don;t ignore it. Stop and take a few moments to evaluate the information and explore how it may affect or possibly even resolve your present challenges.
Let Yourself Make Mistakes
Have some grace when you mess up - and when others in your organization mess up. Hindsight and personal lessons develop from trial and error, making mistakes is a natural part of this process. Open your mind to new strategies and recognize that errors may occur. Be truthful even if it hurts. Document and pay attention to your lessons let them help you move forward and know that you have the ability to attain any goal.

Be All You Can Be- Atttitude
The average business person's day is generally based on just how well things are going. When sales and profits are up, attitude is up, but when obstacles get in the way and things aren't going as well as they would like- so goes their attitude down, down, down! Top performers don't always smile, but they realize that their attitude is one of the most significant factors that brought them success in the first place. They have a core belief about their business and keep their confidence strong by controlling the environments they are in. Learning constantly and surrounding yourself with successful people will keep you sharp and focused. Top performers invest in themselves and their people daily! Are you ready to invest in YOU?

In The Olympic Spirit-Going For The Goal!
That’s GOAL not GOLD…
· Before you begin goal-setting-Get your priorities straight- what do you think about most? That is your priority, but is it in balance?
Are you constantly thinking about your business and nothing else? Is it all consuming? Or do you place your kids first before anything? (I believe that is why we are creating kids that believe everyone needs to serve them – they want to be served instead of serving others. )That is not balance and sooner or later the scales will tip out of control.
· Establish WHY you are in the business and attach emotion to it because if you hit opposition, it will sustain you and keep you going- opposition is there to test our faith and commitment.
· Set your goals the SMART way- (specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and timely)- remember they will change as time goes on-
· Arm your goals with Beyond Freedom(for those of you who have it) and the principles that it teaches as well as other PD, visualization, action, mastermind, and Expect results- Tie it all up with an attitude of gratitude! And you will be continually GOING FOR THE GOALS that your HEART DESIRES
· HAVE A FABULOUS DAY!
Thought the following article was worth passing on! It will only take a few minutes out of your personal development time to read!
10 Ways to Discover the Life You Want
By Sherre Hirsch
We all have dreams of what life "should" be like--what we were supposed to do, where we were going to be at a certain age. Maybe it was a Cinderella plan: you'd marry the prince, move into a castle, and live happily ever after. Or, maybe you were going to be the head of your own company by 35, retired by 40, and living it up on an island in the Caribbean.
So? Where are you now? Or, more importantly, how do you get from this life to the one you really want? Click through these tips and learn how to discover the life you truly want.
First, Look Back
We all get stuck in our lives. The lucky ones, once; the rest of us, quite often. In order to live the life you dream, you need to figure out what got you stuck in the first place. What is it you need to move forward from? When was it you first thought, "My life was supposed to be different?" You need to look back in order to move forward.
End the Excuses
If you want to move forward, you've also got to end the excuses. No more "I shoulds," "If onlys," or "Well, everyone expects me to..." Excuses are a language to mask our fears. It's time to turn those fears into faith. Figure out what it is that YOU really want. Promise yourself that, today, there will be no excuses.
Understand the 'Now'
To discover the life you want, you need to be living in the present. When couples get married I remind them to be present--put resentments, anger, blame behind them for a moment, take a deep breath, and just be here now. To move ahead, we have to fully understand our current state. Count to three and realize that this moment is sacred.
Celebrate Your Divine Gifts
I's so important to realize that you are a person endowed with many gifts. Recognize these tremendous qualities and celebrate them. In the Torah, God describes himself as having 13 divine attributes. You have at least that many too! Celebrate those attributes by identifying 13--yes, 13--amazing qualities that make you, you. You have to appreciate your gifts before you can use them to discover the life you want.
Personalize Your Creator
So who is this creator anyhow? Your creator is your partner, your mother, your best self, and your best friend. Your creator is always by your side, through the good and the bad. Use your own language to talk to this creator--talk, laugh, cry, scream, sing. You'll discover that you are never alone on this journey, and knowing this is vital in getting wherever you want to go.
Your 'Spark' Matters
Each one of us has a special spark. Your goal is to turn this spark into a flame and give your own light to the world. You might think of the moments that have brought you peace and meaning--what thread ran through them? You might ask a friend or look to the people who inspire you. Above all, remember, your spark matters and is helping to light our world. It can just as easily light your way in discovering the path you desire.
Move Forward and Up
I hate the term "settle down." Why settle? Why go down? It's time to realize that the true mark of living the life you dream is to "engage up." It is to take a chance and break the routine. Even a small step is a huge leap of courage. You are a courageous person! You are!
Enjoy the Ride
It is easy to judge your path when the results are obvious. Are you happy? Are you successful? But when you are on the path to living the life you want, what really matters is not the immediate outcome, but the meaning that it brings to your life. You know there is meaning when the process starts to matter more than the end results. It's then that you exude the divine beauty that shines from within.
Keep Asking Questions
Living a life of meaning means that you have to keep living--keep "engaging up," keep sparkling. You can only do this if you keep questioning. Doubts and questions are what make your path in life so dynamic. If you are afraid to ask and reassess, what feels fresh today may feel stale tomorrow.
Repairing Yourself Can Change the World
So, why should you try to live the life you dream when it is easier just to live the life you already have? Because you matter and your life will be an inspiration to those around you--your children, your friends, their children, and their grandchildren.
In Judaism, there is a task of tikkun olam, repairing the world. However, the first step in repairing the world is to repair yourself. It's true for every one of us, regardless of time, place and situation--once you begin, you too will change the world and discover the life you want.

Direct Selling Offers Flexibility and Financial Freedom
Categories: Business /Communication, Wealth, Wealth /Money Making Ideas, Business, Business /Leadership, Business /Entreperneurship, Business /Sales
If you want to spread your entrepreneurial wings but have little or no business experience, don’t have a product or service to offer or are simply looking for a proven system for success, direct selling might be the ideal opportunity.
For more than 100 years, direct selling companies have offered independent representatives the ability to purchase products at wholesale prices and earn a profit by selling them at retail prices. Most direct selling companies also allow representatives to earn commissions for introducing new sales reps to the business. This business model relies on independent contractors, rather than traditional advertising, to spread the word about a company’s products or services. The word-of-mouth marketing approach works for several reasons: Consumers appreciate the personal service, the convenience of shopping from home, and the comfort of buying from those they know and trust.
Jim Cramer, host of CNBC’s Mad Money, is bullish on direct selling, especially during a slowing economy. “Direct selling is a great model…with high gross margins, low capital intensity, lots of free cash flow,” he said on a recent show. “It’s a fragmented industry with gigantic room for growth. The top 15 players only account for about half the market.”
Amy M. Robinson, Direct Selling Association Vice President of Communications and Media Relations, points out that, while many people seek additional income during lean economic times, “in all honesty, direct selling is hot because it’s a fun, convenient way to shop that people enjoy. So, poor economic times or not, people fi nd direct selling to be appealing. Great products, personal service and income potential are elements of direct selling that make it a strong economic contender at all times.”
“People motivated to get started in direct selling typically share certain attributes,” she says. “Most seek supplemental income, either short-term or long term. The social aspect also is appealing for those who love to meet new people and many enjoy buying products and services they already use—at a discount.”
With a direct selling business opportunity you can: Join an industry where business is booming and there’s always room at the top. Direct selling, sometimes referred to as network marketing, is a $32 billion industry in the United States and a $110 billion industry worldwide. The millions of individuals building direct selling businesses determine for themselves when they want to move up the career ladder and exactly how high they want to climb.
Tap into a proven system for success. Avoid wasting time or money by learning from others’ experiences and wisdom. Direct selling companies often provide high-quality, high-impact marketing tools, including personal Web sites, brochures, catalogs, DVDs and CDs to help direct sellers present a professional image—at a fraction of what it would cost to produce the same tools on their own. Additionally, training in best practices is frequently offered online and via conference calls as well as at local and national conferences.
Start a business for $500 or less. Direct selling companies offer big opportunity with minimal startup costs. For a small sign-up fee, new reps receive access to training and marketing materials, discounts on products and sample products to show and sell. You can set up office at your kitchen table with phone and laptop. Low overhead combined with minimal(if any) inventory expenses make direct selling businesses affordable. And because many companies handle online orders and deliver directly to customers, independent representatives can focus their time on connecting with potential clients and team members.
Experience flexibility and time freedom. The flexibility to work around full-time jobs or to create an income stream that fi ts into their families' schedules is a huge perk. Because
each representative is an independent contractor, not an employee, there is no set schedule or required number of hours. On average, part-time direct sellers devote three to 10 hours per week to their businesses. Those who pursue the business full time invest 15 to 35 hours per week. In either case, representatives can set their own schedules and build their businesses during off hours and lunch breaks or on weekends.
Earn what you’re worth. When you’re the boss, you don’t have to ask for a raise—you simply go out and earn one. A results-driven industry, direct selling levels the playing field by offering the same opportunity to everyone regardless of age, ethnicity, gender or socioeconomic background. Equal opportunity, a clearly defined career path and no earning restrictions mean there are no limits on what successful direct sellers can earn. While some in the industry are earning millions, it’s more common for direct sellers to use their businesses to earn extra cash per month to pay for dinners
out, private school, college expenses, cars and family vacations.
Maximize your earnings with residual(or passive) income. By building a team of people who love the products and are excited about telling others about the opportunity, direct sellers can leverage their time and maximize their income. Capitalizing on a team’s efforts means a business owner can devote 10 hours a week to their business, but with 10 other people also devoting 10 hours to their businesses, the team leader earns a commission from the collective sales and team-building results of 110 hours’ effort. It also means a team builder’s business has the potential to grow, even while he or she is on vacation.
“I like the honesty about direct selling,” says economist Paul Zane Pilzer, author of The Next Millionaires, “because it openly tells people the way to get rich is residual income: Get paid tomorrow for something you did yesterday—and let it accumulate.”
Reap the rewards of helping others succeed. Building a team definitely makes financial sense, but it also offers significant intangible rewards. Though representatives run their businesses independently, they often develop a family-like connection with their team members and others in the business. The friendships formed and the experiences of helping others improve their personal and financial lives are often as meaningful to direct sellers as the money they earn.
Get the recognition—and prizes—you deserve. In the corporate world, there’s no such thing as a free lunch, much less free vacations, luxury cars or fine jewelry. Direct selling companies know most people work more diligently and with more enthusiasm for a reward. First-class incentive trips to exotic locations, free cars or car allowances, fine jewelry and cash bonuses are offered by many companies to those who excel. And the opportunity to earn such rewards is open to everyone.
Become a better you. Direct sellers are faced with numerous comfort-zone challenges, and by overcoming those challenges they grow personally and professionally. The encouragement and training these independent business owners receive from their companies’ leaders as well as others in the field spur them to step outside their comfort zones to achieve success.

Are You Broke or Poor?
For many years I tried to make it big in the corporate world. By many standards, I did- even earning a Who’s Who in Business Leaders of America title. I thought that if I just took one more training program or purchased one more book, I would suddenly experience the financial success I wanted so badly, but I really was unfulfilled. Then one day, one of my mentors asked me if I was broke or if I was poor. He went on to say that if I was broke, that was easy to fix. But if I was poor, it would be much harder to change.
What’s the difference?
Broke is when you don’t have money. It’s a temporary situation. Poor is a mental state. Sure, being financial literate can help. Knowing how to make the money can help. But it won’t do you any good if you’re afraid and don’t believe it will happen. I really believed it would happen, but wasn’t really certain how- then last year I learned that the HOW is not up to me. I just needed to focus on the WHY, help others and serve a purpose much larger than me. Wow- it is amazing- As Bob Proctor says “money is just ink on paper” prosperity consciousness is a state of mind.
This message, I feel, comes at a good time because most everyone in the U.S. is talking about the economic crisis. Gas prices are at an all time high. Newsweek even reported that “almost 60% of Americans are cutting back their vacations because of high prices.”
If you allow yourself to get caught up in this drama, you will experience more drama. What you focus on is what you become conscious of. Therefore, the energy of lack, of not enough, or uncertainty… becomes a part of your consciousness. And this is what you create more of.
So be honest with yourself, are you broke or are you poor? And if you are poor, what are you going to do to change this?

The Law of Attraction Simply Works
Here’s how the LOA supports us.
It simply reflects back the energy we’re holding in our aura/energy field. It helps us see how we’re currently living our lives. Our immediate reality is just a reflection - a mirror - for our energy field. And our energy field is made up of our dominant thoughts, our beliefs, our experiences, our actions - all energetic patterns. The Universe responds to our vibration.
So with this said, you don’t need to think about or figure out how the Law of Attraction works anymore.
All you need to do if you want to change your life is look at it. Notice what is working for you. Notice what you don’t like. And pay attention to the common themes and patterns. Once you’re aware of the patterns, you can then choose to create a new experience.
For example, if you feel that your boss doesn’t respect you, and you feel taken for granted by your spouse, there’s a pattern there. Perhaps you don’t appreciate yourself enough and so the Universe is reflecting this back for you to see. And then once you recognize this, you can change it right then. Just choose to appreciate yourself more. Perhaps you’ll take time to relax, schedule time in your day to eat lunch regularly and stop sacrificing yourself when all your friends ask to help them.
You have the opportunity at each moment of your life to choose how you want that moment to be. If you like the moment, you can choose to continue the same patterns and feel even more joyful. If you don’t like that moment’s experience, then you can reach for a thought or a feeling that is a little better than where you started. Once you make that conscious choice to change, the Universe responds through the Law of Attraction to match your new vibration and your new creation is underway.
So what will you create this moment- for this moment is all we have!

Tax Advantages of a Home Based Business
You have probably thought of many of the benefits of running your own successful accounting and bookkeeping service. From the independence of working for yourself to making better income than you may currently make, there are many reasons that starting a home-based business might be right for you. One consideration that you might not have taken into account is the tax advantages that you will enjoy with a business run out of your home. Let's explore these qualifying deductions, starting with the better-known ones.
The Home Office Deduction
The deduction that likely comes first to mind that home-based businesses can take advantage of is the "Home Office Deduction". The Home Office Deduction allows you to deduct some or all of the expenses of your office at home and related expenses.
To qualify for this deduction, your home office must be the principal place where your business is done. Secondly, the office space must be used exclusively for business use to qualify. For example, if you use your kitchen as your primary workspace, it is likely that you cannot take the home office deduction, assuming that you use it for personal use as well. To be on the safe side, set aside a room as your home office where possible. This will keep you on the safe side should the home office use ever come into question.
Detailed explanations of who qualifies for the Home Office deduction are defined in detail by the IRS themselves.
Building-Related Expenses
Repairs and improvements to your home office are completely deductible. For example, painting your home office is an expense that relates directly to doing business out of your home, so it is deductible in full.
Mortgage interest is deductible as a percentage of the total mortgage paid for your home. For instance, if your home office makes up 200 square feet of your home's 2,000 square feet total, you can write off up to 10% of the mortgage interest for your home as a business cost. Similarly, if you rent your home, the percentage of your home used exclusively for business use would also be deductible.
Property taxes paid for your home also qualify at the same percentage rate as the mortgage.
Furthermore, if you own your home, you can depreciate the appropriate share of the home over 39 years.
Note that home expenses not related to your business, such as landscaping costs, cannot be deducted, even if you are beautifying the appearance of your home to enhance its appearance for business purposes.
How Much Total Can You Deduct?
You can deduct at most in home expenses for your home-based business what its net profit is. Thus, if you don't make much net profit, neither will you be able to deduct many home office expenses. This covers expenses specific to your home itself, such as mortgage/rent and property taxes.
Security
You may deduct the business cost of security devices and monitoring fees as a percentage of the protected area used for business use of the entire protected area (normally the entire home). This is considered an indirect cost of doing business.
Insurance
If you own your home and pay home owner's insurance, you may deduct a percentage of that expense, as with mortgage or rent expenses. If you have additional insurance coverage that covers things specifically for the business, you may deduct these expenses in full as direct business expenses. This may include special riders on your insurance policy to protect business equipment used exclusively for your business.
Additionally, if you incur a loss that is not covered by insurance, if it is equipment used exclusively for your business, you can deduct the entire loss. If the property lost is for things used both for personal and business use, you may deduct just the percentage of business use.
Utilities
Using the same percentage that you can write off of your home calculated above, you can write off utilities such as electrical, gas, and other utilities as business expenses.
Transportation
If you work primarily out of your home, you can typically write off the transportation expense of getting to and from your clients' places of business and other business-related transportation costs.
Transportation as a deductible cost is one area where detailed records is critical. Typically, you will want to record the odometer mileage of your car before and after your trip to determine the number of miles traveled. Alternately, if you have places that you often travel to, you can just record the number of miles once and then multiply by the number of trips to determine total mileage This will prove much easier than recording each trip's mileage
Moving Expenses
If you move, you can deduct the business portion of the move. For example, if half of the items to be moved were business-related, you could deduct 50% of your moving expenses. Note that moving expenses apply to sole proprietors, LLC's, and S-Corporations only. They do not apply to C corporations.
If you have business-related moving expenses, use form 8829, "Expenses for the Business Use of Your Home" to report them.
Phones and Communications
For a home business, the first phone line into your home is considered by the IRS as a personal expense. Additional phone lines for business use, including cell phones used for your business, are tax deductible. Internet service provider fees or broadband costs such as high speed cable connections are deductible as a percentage of business use to total usage.
Meals and Entertainment
If you take a client or prospective client out to lunch and talk about your business, it is often tax deductible as a cost of doing business. If you are doing business out of town or at your convenience on a business-related task, you can typically deduct the amount of meals. If you are entertaining a client, the expenses related to the meeting are deductible if they have a business purpose.
Meals and Entertainment is one area that is often abused by small businesses, so if you plan to take deductions for these kinds of expenses, be sure to keep receipts. Also keep records of what the money was used for to avoid any kind of legal entanglements later on. As with most business deductions, as long as you stay within the IRS guidelines for what is allowed and keep good records, you can take this deduction safely.
You can only deduct 50% of the cost of meals and entertainment.
Tax Preparation Expenses
Though not specific to home-based businesses, the expenses that you incur to have your tax return itself prepared may be tax deductible.
Also, if you use tax-preparation software to prepare your own business' tax returns, the cost of the tax preparation software is possibly deductible.
Software
Software used for business purposes are deductible as a business expense. Note that for software packages in excess of $500 in value, you may need to amortize (write off over a period of time) the software over 3 years. If you have purchased software that costs more than $500 per piece of software, consult the IRS guidelines for software deductions.
Educational Expenses
Educational expenses incurred directly to learn industry-specific skills needed for your business are often tax-deductible. For example, if you purchase the Professional Bookkeeper course to learn Accounting and Bookkeeping skills to start your business, this expense is tax deductible as a start up cost once your business is underway.
Record Keeping
Many small businesses let themselves get cheated every year by not taking deductions they are legally entitled to on their taxes for fear of being audited. As long as you stay within the IRS guidelines for what is and is not tax deductible and keep receipts and good records, you are safe to take the deductions you are legally entitled to. The Home Office Deduction in particular is a deduction that many have wrongly assumed makes them a target for an IRS audit.
If ever in doubt, go directly to the source, the IRS themselves. They publish many articles defining exactly what deductions you are entitled to so that you can be sure that you are in compliance with the law.
It may be advisable to consult a tax preparer for specific questions regarding what would or would not be deductible, and to what extent. For a thorough understanding of tax preparation for your own business or to prepare taxes for other businesses or individuals, you may want to look into training such as Universal Accounting's Professional Tax Preparer program. For many individuals and businesses, they save more on their taxes over a year or two than they spend on the course itself. Plus, they have the assurance that they are doing their taxes correctly and doing proper tax planning to reduce their tax liability.
A Great Home Business
As illustrated above, running a home business gives many tax advantages and deductions. So why not now- TODAY? www.libertyleague.com/visionsforsuccess www.visionsforsuccess.com

What Are YOU Thinking About?
Ok are you ready for another quick chat?
Why do you want to know what I am thinking about you ask? Because in order to change something in your life, you need to be consciously aware of what you are thinking about, and then if desired, change the focus of the thoughts to exactly what you desire to create for your life.
Sounds simple doesn't it? Well it is, but don't let the simplicity of the principle fool you- IT IS VERY POWERFUL!.
Ofcourse you truly have POWER over your thoughts once you become fully aware of them. YOUR THOUGHTS do NOT think YOU- YOU think YOUR THOUGHTS! so you need to be consciously aware of ALL your thoughts and have control over what they produce and what experiences you are having in life!
So, you ask, What happens to the Subconscious thoughts that I have already been living - how can I change them?
From my experience, it is only necessary to replace the undesirable counter-productive to your goal thoughts with information that is congruent with what it is that you desire! For some, it's easy, for others, you may have a bit more work to do, but in all cases it will take discipline, and effort to replace thoughts that have been with you all your life that you may not even be aware of! For instance, limiting beliefs like, " I am not a good test-taker"- or "I will never be able to get out of debt" - or even " Go to school, get a good education, and you will get a great JOB" (JUST OVER BROKE- my definition).
You are probably thinking, easy for "them to say" they have everything they want! This is where YOU will be needing to make a mind-set shift. The reason "they" are who they are is because "they" eliminated those limiting beliefs about themselves. Until you are able to change the initial thought process that created their situation, they will continue to attract more of the SAME RESULTS and will REMAIN STUCK!
Most of the world says " I'll believe it when I see it" - forward, positive thinkers and the unwavering universe says "Believe it and then you will see it!"
Let's see who said Whatsoever you desire when you pray, Believe that you will receive them and you shall have them?
Til next time- Wishing you a Vision of Abundance

Leadership- What Successful Leaders Do
What Successful Leaders Do
As an entrepreneur and leader in the Personal Development Industry, I am often asked what I believe the definition of Leadership to be. Let me first explain what I believe it is NOT!
Leadership should not be simply and purely for personal gain or goal accomplishment.
Leadership needs to have a much higher purpose than that!
Leaders realize that leadership is not about them and that they are only as good as the people they lead.
In taking a look at your leadership point of view, you should be able to answer a few questions:
Who are the Primary influencers in you life? What do you or are you learning from them, good or not so good?
Think of your Life purpose. Why are you here, and what do you want to accomplish?
Which values will be at the forefront of your behavior? What will be guiding your thoughts and actions as you live your life “on purpose”.
Success is a value, but so are wealth, relationships,learning and community. You can certainly have more than one value, but if your core value is integrity, then the way you go about gaining financial freedom must have only actions of integrity.
What are your beliefs about leadership and motivation of others? Again, take a look at your core values. Your belief about how you will lead others will stem from your Primary influencers.
What can the people who look up to you expect from you? You “do leadership with people”,not something “you do to people”. Let your associates know what they can expect from you and where your boundaries are so there will be no disappointments or surprises.
What do you expect from your associates? Because you are in partnership with people, they should know what you expect from them as well.
Setting an example… Walk your talk. Learned behavior is setting an example of the core values and behaviors you are encouraging and expecting. Simplify things, you should have a turn-key system, paint by number approach when first implementing leadership so that you are able to grow and nurture others to their greatness and leadership roles.
Highest Paying Jobs in the US
Do what you love and the money will follow is great in theory, but the truth of the matter is, certain jobs and fields simply pay more. The Bureau of Labor Statistics National Compensation Survey showed, for example, that white-collar earnings, which averaged $21.85 per hour, were the highest among occupational groups. Blue-collar pay averaged $15.03 per hour, while the hourly pay of service occupations averaged just $10.40.
The jobs that pay the most require at least a four-year college degree. According to the most recent data from the Employment Policy Foundation, the nation’s 12 top-paying jobs -- and the mean annual income reported in 2003 for each -- were:
Top Paying Jobs Overall
* Physicians and surgeons -- $147,000
* Aircraft pilots -- $133,500
* Chief executives -- $116,000
* Electrical and electronic engineers -- $112,000
* Lawyers and judges -- $99,800
* Dentists -- $90,000
* Pharmacists -- $85,500
* Management analysts -- $84,700
* Computer and information system managers -- $83,000
* Financial analysts, managers and advisors -- $84,000
* Marketing and sales managers -- $80,000
* Education administrators -- $80,000
Though many of these occupations require an advanced degree, there are jobs at every education level that pay more than other jobs for workers with similar levels of schooling. Here, courtesy of the Employment Policy Foundation, is a look at the best-paying occupations at varying education levels:
Top Paying Jobs That Do Not Require a High School Degree
These jobs tend to require substantial on-the-job training and work experience rather than formal education and schooling:
* Industrial production managers -- $36,000
* Bailiffs, correctional officers and jailers -- $36,400
* Drafters -- $36,000
* Construction manager -- $33,600
* Electricians -- $31,900
Top Paying Jobs for High School Graduates
These occupations emphasize work experience and on-the-job training rather than formal education:
* Computer software engineers -- $58,900
* Computer/information systems managers -- $56,400
* Computer programmers -- $55,000
* Network systems and data communications analysts -- $49,000
* General and operations managers -- $48,000
* Database, network and computer systems administrators -- $48,000
Top Paying Jobs for a Two-Year College Degree
The following jobs tend to be technical in nature, emphasizing skills developed on the job as well as job-specific training and certifications:
* Healthcare practitioners -- $66,000
* Business analysts -- $58,000
* Electrical and electronic engineers -- $57,000
* Mechanical engineers -- $56,800
* General and operations managers -- $54,000
* Computer and information systems managers -- $50,400
"A look at expected earnings over a lifetime shows the economic benefit of higher education attainment," says Tony Carnevale, who chaired President Clinton’s National Commission for Employment Policy and authored several books, including "America and the New Economy: How New Competitive Standards are Radically Changing American Workplaces."
A person with a doctoral or professional degree, for example, is expected to earn about $3 million over the course of his or her working life while a person without a high school diploma is expected to earn less than $1 million. "Despite an increasing supply of well-educated workers, the college wage premium has nearly doubled since 1980, largely because of the added value of a college education in the new knowledge economy," adds Carnevale.
The Employment Policy Forum concurs, but stresses that these numbers are only averages. Individual earnings depend on many factors inducing geographic location, employer size (average hourly earnings ranged from $15.06 in organizations employing between 1 and 99 workers to $24.09 in those with 2,500 workers or more), industry (workers in goods-producing industries earned $18.46 an hour vs. those in service-producing industries who earned $16.44 an hour) and the worker’s skills and characteristics.

Three Reasons Why Home Based Business is on the Rise
Yes, It's true, home based businesses are on the rise and Personal Development is in the forefront!
Here's why-
1. No Job is Secure -the 40-40-40 rule is gone- working 40 hours a week when you are 40 for a 40 year-old company! Unheard of - right? Frequent downsizing,(or is it right-sizing) layoffs etc. Even government jobs no longer enjoy a secure status.
2. Technology- The computer and the internet have allowed business owners to expand their reach of customers from local-ness to worldwide- virtually overnight. The way we communicate has little to do with where your office is; thsi frees people to work from home - or where ever they wish to be- the beach the park bench, or in another country.
3. A Desire To Take Control of One's Future- For most middle income families, living pay check to paycheck has become a way of life. The long-term effects of this lifestyle is financial struggle and is often a result of people working for someone else all their life. Many people will have nothing at the end of their working years. A new generation of entrepreneurs are reversing their fate, and creating visions for themselves and making the vision a reality.
So what is it that is holding you back? Part of finishing our life on this earth wealthy is understanding that wealth is all around us! Passion is a key factor in determining your success. Is it time to unlock your true potential? I am here to assist you in getting started. The hardest part of starting a business is believing YOU CAN DO IT!!
After all, what will be different tomorrow?
Wishing you your Visions coming True- til next time!!!

AFFIRMATIONS ARE POWERFUL!
Why affirmations work
By choosing to think and say positive affirmations as truth, the subconscious is forced into one of two reactions - avoidance or acceptance. The bigger the issue the bigger the gap between the positive affirmation and the perceived inner truth and the more likely that one is going to experience resistance. This is where the subconscious finds it easier to stay with its perceived inner truth and avoid the challenge to avoid examining the issue. You will recognize this reaction by a strong negative feeling inside as you state the positive affirmations. Equally if your experience a sense of joy and well being, your mind is instinctively responding to something it believes to be true. When you get this emotion, you know your affirmations are working! You do not even have to believe that it will work, initially, just keep affirming.
Continually repeating affirmations with conviction and passion will chip away at even the strongest resistance. The effect can be startling and things can change very quickly as the dysfunctional beliefs are identified and replaced by your own new inner truth.
Because affirmations actually reprogram your thought patterns, they change the way you think and feel about things, and because you have replaced dysfunctional beliefs with your own new positive beliefs, positive change comes easily and naturally. This will start to reflect in your external life, you will start to experience seismic changes for the better in many aspects of your life.
How quickly do affirmations work
From day one, there will be affirmations you love and enjoy saying, these affirmations are likely to be very effective for you and you are likely to start experience changes almost immediately. Others will feel very negative, almost like a big lie, this indicates resistance and these areas may take longer to impact. How quickly you can resolve an issue like this is like asking how long is a piece of string. It depends on the issue, how deeply the belief is held and how determined you are to bring about change in that area of your life, the latter being perhaps the most important of all. If you are truly ready and want to make changes, the quicker those changes will come for you. People have made cognitive changes in their beliefs almost instantaneously, once you are prepared to embrace and accept a change and you believe it to be right for you from your very heart, then that change will happen. So it is not really a question of time, more a question of how accepting of change you can be.
Yes. No matter what aspect of life you're dealing with or who you are, affirmations will not only make you feel better about yourself and your life. But if used correctly, they can manifest real change in your life. Changing the way you think, reprogramming your mind and removing the old negative beliefs that have been sabotaging you again and again throughout your life. They can enable you to achieve the life you've always wanted for yourself!
Everyone Really uses Affirmations- But did you know that 90% of our thoughts are negative! No wonder we struggle!It is these negative thoughts that feed and validate our negative internal beliefs. Under this kind of negative bombardment most people simply do not have the strength to break free of their negative thoughts and become hopelessly locked into their own (usually false) negative beliefs.
Positive affirmations are designed to challenge those negative beliefs. Affirmations are more than just repeating words. It is a whole process of becoming aware of your thoughts and words in everyday life, choosing to think and project happy positive thoughts. The more you can consciously inject the spirit of you affirmations into your daily thoughts and words, the quicker they will work for you. I really reccommned journaling. You need to release all of the negativity
How to create your own affirmations
Start by taking some time to think about areas in your life you would like to improve and how you might want your life to be. It is worth taking some time over this process. Write the most important ones down in a list.
Now look at each item on the list and write out a few positive statements for each. They must be positive and in the present tense, focus on what you do want, not on what you don't want.
For example if my list of things that were important to me included...
"A fulfilling job"
My affirmation might look like this
I have a wonderful job that fulfils me on many levels
Creating your own affirmations is the perfect way to get the right affirmations for you. For example, in the early stages, some of the affirmations you will receive will be "releasing" in nature, these are designed to assist you in overcoming any initial resistance to the process. Here is an example of a very simple releasing affirmation.
"I am ready and willing to release the past, now"
Say your affirmations aloud-with passion, write them down on cards or post it notes so they are visible to you throughout your day and Visualize them to be true.SAMPLES OF AFFIRMATIONS

AFFIRMATIONS! Do they REALLY WORK?
What is an Affirmation?
Everything we think of and every word we say is an affirmation All of our self-talk is a free flow of affirmations. We are continually affirming subconsciously with our words and thoughts and this flow of affirmations is creating our life experience each and every day and moment that we live. Our beliefs are just learned thought patterns that we have developed since childhood, many of these work well for us, but others may now be working against us, and preventing us from achieving what we believe we want. Every thought or word we utter is a reflection of our inner truth or beliefs. It is important to realize that many of these "inner truths" may not actually be true for us now or may no longer be valid because they were based upon inappropriate impressions we constructed as children.
Our subconscious uses the behavior patterns we have learned to automatically respond and react to many everyday events in our life. This is essential to our survival, we need to be able to respond quickly to events around us which would be impossible if we had to re-examine every aspect of things every time something simple happens. Our learned responses and thought patterns enable us to automatically respond to circumstances quickly and easily. Problems arise however, if at an early stage some of the foundation beliefs on which many of the others are built were formed from a skewed perspective, maybe the strategy was appropriate for a perceived difficult circumstance, however often such beliefs are totally inappropriate for succeeding in the real world as adults.
You can use "Positive Affirmations", which are usually short positive statements targeted at a specific subconscious set of beliefs, to challenge and undermine negative beliefs and to replace them with positive self-nurturing beliefs. It is sort of like "Brain Draining/Cleaning"only you get to choose which negative beliefs to drain away. The way these statements are constructed is extremely important. Later I will show you how to construct your own affirmations. It is important to remember of course that everything we say and think is a positive affirmation, using statements of affirmation forces us to keep focussed on our inner goals and reminds us to think consciously about our words and thoughts and to modify them to reflect our positive affirmation.
Do affirmations work?
YES! Affirmations really work. You will be hard pressed to find any self help program anywhere that does not include affirmations. And the reason for this is, they work. The more determined you are to make your changes, the more you are prepared to accept change and let go of the past, the better they will work for you.

Infinite Possibilities!
See IT Feel IT Believe IT
Hello Fellow Associates and New Readers!
Right now you are sending powerful energy to the universe and God. The energy is either negative or positive. You will receive what you give. The universe and God are here to help you manifest what it is that you want in life and to discover your purpose and receive infinite amounts of happiness, prosperity, and health. You are the energy needed to help make things happen! It's like a boomerang effect- your thoughts and desires will return to you sooner or later with astounding accuracy! Your emotions towards your purpose is KEY. I am here to assist you in discovering your Infinite Possibilities!
Just try this exercise to start:
We are all here to fulfill a purpose. This exercise will assist you in stating it in simple terms.
Make a list of all of the times in Life that have truly made you feel the most alive and joyful.
What does each experience have in common?
Then ask yourself the following questions.
What are my natural talents and gifts?
What do I love to do?
When do I fell the most alive?
What brings me the greatest joy?
When do I feel the best about myself?
What are my personal strengths and characteristics?
What have other said I am good at?
How do I most enjoy interacting with others?
If I could change anything in the world- what would it be?
Now look for common characteristics- ask through meditation/prayer for answers to your purpose and write it down in a couple of sentences-
Next time- we will learn how to DREAM BIG!
www.visionsforsuccess.com
DREAM BIG- otherwise known as Goals!
Ok- so you have your Purpose and Passions figured out- right? Remember to look at them daily and write affirmations about what you want to accomplish! Now onto those Dreams and Goals!
-You have to have a dream if you are going to make it come true!
What does YOUR success look like to you?
-Take a look at all the key areas of your life: Whatever it is that you have- BE GRATEFUL)
-PERSONAL GOALS (things you want to have)
-RELATIONSHIPS (friends, family, co-workers etc)
-HEALTH AND BODY (physical and mental health)
-CAREER AND EDUCATION ( continue your personal growth as well as your academic growth)
-RECREATION (Have fun!- sports, music, what do you love to do?)
-FINANCIAL ( what do you want to earn?)
-CONTRIBUTIONS (what do you want to give back?)
Be certain when setting your dreams/goals to use the SMART method
- Specific- be very detailed - envision yourself being and doing the things of your heart.Let others know your intentions.
- Measurable-Be certain your goal has a "ruler" better yet- a "yardstick" to measure your results- how much money do you want to earn, how much weight do you want to loose
- Action-Take ACTION And ATTAIN results- make the actions your own-if you want to loose weight - don't buy the cookies and potato chips (for the kids) it will do them good not to eat them either!
- Realistic- Stretch yourself a bit- think and BELIEVE that you will achieve your goals! Stop settling for whatever comes your way and take ownership of the fact that YOU can actively participate in the creation of your own destiny and dreams!
- Timely- Put a date to be accomplished on your goal sheet! Don't get hung up if you don't achieve it by that specific time-frame! BUT NEVER GIVE UP!
Getting started-
We usually know what we Don't Want so go ahead and make a chart for every area of your life that you want to change and label it What I don't want( once we put it down on paper - we will begin to release those things and concentrate on the other side) and on the other side label
Want I don't want What I do Want
I don't want to be overweight I want to fit into a size 6 (don't we all?)
I don't want to date a smoker I want to date someone who cares
about their health
You get the idea?
Ok- then you need to make a list of AT LEAST 101 things that you want and on another day- take your time and prioritize them!
This exercise could take you while, but it is liberating!
So - you have your work cut out for you this week- go ahead, have fun and DREAM BIG!!!
YOU DESERVE THE BEST !
Next time MORE ON AFFIRMATIONS!
See you then!
